Between work, family and crazy side gigs, I’ve given up on the idea of finding time to read. Podcasts allow me to do what every working parent does best – multitask. I listen to loads of them and learn while folding the laundry, FTW!

Recruitment Marketing is currently the hot industry buzzworthy term. Smashfly is making some noise with a certification (free for now).  In addition, there’s an exciting community on the way called Rally Recruitment Marketing! They have big things planned and I am excited to be one of the mentors.

Gone but not forgotten, these podcasts are currently taking a break but the replays are worth a listen, for sure. Let’s all rally for them to make a comeback!

Getting Goosebumps by Bryan Adams

Stories resonate with job seekers more than advertisements, and are key to any recruitment marketing strategy. It is an art to get employees to share their stories and tell their “why”. Bryan discusses the power of storytelling with marketing influencers like Seth Godin, J.T. O’Donnell, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
