One thing is certain in this world for me and that’s my love of technology especially HR technology. This podcast is part three of a now four part series where I introduce my podcast listeners and blog readers to a group of new and emerging HR technologies. These podcast(s) include a series of short mini-interviews where I talk with CEOs and Founders of disruptive and impacting-making HR and recruiting technologies.
In this increasingly active and crowded industry, it’s hard for new, disruptive and creative HR and recruiting technologies to rise above the noise and connect with practitioners. Chances are your email inbox is overflowing with demo requests, iPad contests and requests for phone call meetings. This podcast is about connecting with founders and new tech in a casual, personal and conversational way.
The HR technology industry is one of the hottest investments for investment firms and venture capital with new startups and companies popping up every day. In the first half of 2015, over $811 million dollars was invested in HR tech. In this podcast series I talk with HR technology companies who are driving innovation and change each in different ways. You can check out Part 1 or Part 2 of this podcast series.
Meet Pawel Czech and Jan Antoniewicz of Emplo (@emplo)
Pawel Czech and Jan Antoniewicz sat down with me to chat about their new HR technology product, Emplo. An international HR technology product and engagement suite, I’m excited for you to hear more about their product and point of view. Emplo is based in Poland and is taking the European and now US markets by storm. Having demoed their platform a few months ago, it is very intuitive and has a great UX design for end users within your organization.
Jan and Pawel will be attending the HR Technology Conference and are among the companies presenting and pitching at the HR Tech Tank conference held just before HR Tech begins.
Meet Justin Sherratt of SortBox (@sortbox)
Justin Sherratt is the CEO and founder of Sortbox. Justin a long time personal friend who has a background as a recruiter and filmmaker. He’s creative and committed to helping provide employment branding and company landing pages for small to medium sized companies. Justin has a knowledge of the HR and recruiting industry that most founders and CEO’s do not as a former practitioner.
Aside from Sortbox Justin is extremely passionate about providing the startup industry with resources serving as a mentor to many new tech founders and companies. I’m excited to see Sortbox come out of beta and change the small business hiring and recruiting space.
Meet Jonathan Duarte of GoodHire (@goodhiretweets)
Another company providing great technology and tools for small to medium sized business in the HR and recruiting technology space is GoodHire. GoodHire is a tech startup based in Silicon Valley, however, GoodHire is one of a number of products Inflection, their company provides in the privacy and background check marketplace. They aren’t your typical HR technology startup company.
Jonathan Duarte is GoodHire’s Director of Partnerships. Jonathan has has his foot in the HR industry for a long time first launching a job board company which is where we first connected.
