Episode 316: HR Tech Insights Featuring John Borland, Anne Fulton and Anastasia Neddersen

Even before the pandemic it was a challenge to shop and learn about HR technology and services. COVID throws another wrinkle into things even with conferences and events opening up in the near future. At Workology, we reach 700,000 (yes 700,000!) HR and workplace leaders every month with our newsletter, podcast, and online resources at Workology.com. I’ve been getting requests from many of you asking for ways to connect with different companies that will give you the opportunity to research the organization and learn about them BEFORE signing up for a demo or answering your phone.

This interview is part of a new series called HR Tech Insights for the Workology Podcast, sponsored by UpSkill HR and Ace the HR Exam. It’s an opportunity for you, the HR leader, to quickly learn about different companies, their solutions, the company sizes and verticals they serve, and a quick case study of the problems they solve. Think of it like walking an expo floor, but without the free swag and cocktails. The good news is there is no travel or expense involved. Each episode in the HR Tech Insights series features three 7-10 minute interviews with different HR tech and service providers.

Episode 316: HR Tech Insights Featuring John Borland, Anne Fulton and Anastasia Neddersen

Meet John Borland

As the co-founder and CEO for Perceptyx, Inc, John is accountable for the daily operations of the company. John oversees performance measures for the delivery team, and plays an active role in setting the tone and direction of the business. John dedicates a significant portion of his time towards paving the way for future system enhancements to meet emerging client needs.

He is instrumental in fostering employee alignment throughout the business, allocating resources to meet strategic goals, improving efficiency and maximizing quality. John brings deep technical know-how regarding the system, which is coupled alongside strong leadership skills. Combined with his academic background in Business Management, John provides a constant source of thought leadership.

The sheer number of clients that John has worked with means that he brings a unique perspective on the industry. For example, John has partnered with companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Dell, NBCUniversal, Microsoft, and many more.

Meet Anne Fulton

Anne is a co-founder and the CEO of Fuel50. She is also one of the brains behind the Fuel50 Career Path software product, around which she has built an impressive, now multinational corporation which she manages and directs. Her success in this field has been predicated upon some 20 years of professional experience as a Registered Organizational Psychologist, executive career coach and corporate employment strategist.

Anne has extensive experience working with Fortune 100 companies such as CVS, Verizon, Facebook, CocaCola and many more. Ms. Fulton has presented her research on Career Agility and Engagement Trends in New York, London and Sydney, earning widespread recognition and industry acclaim.

Meet Anastasia Neddersen

Anastasia is co-founder and CEO of Whiznook. Anastasia’s aspirations are to increase collective team intelligence in any group environment that relies on teams to get innovative work done. She’s set on a journey to create accessible and AI driven games to help teams build stronger connections and become exceptional at achieving their goals. These are intelligent games that extract behavioral data in real time about the team and support them learning new skills and behaviors by utilizing adaptive training.

I’m all about arming HR and workplace leaders with resources and information to help them support their organizations. That includes finding great HR tech and service providers. I’m including the LinkedIn profile and company information for each person we’ve talked to for this episode. Feel free to reach out to them directly and make sure you tell them you heard about them on the Workology Podcast!
