The 2011 #UnSix Tweetup

I love South By South West.  Hands down it is the biggest and best social media and technology conference I have ever attended.  With more than 24,000 at the event which includes three different mini-conferences:  Interactive, Movies, and Music, it is amazing.  A gathering of thousands of like-minded individuals who are funky, fun, and talented.  It’s unbelievable.  But SXSW can be overwhelming and sometimes it’s hard to connect with people in your industry and network with new and old friends.

That’s exactly the reason I decided to host the Unofficial 6th St. Tweetup in 2010.  In 2010, our first event was thrown together in under 5 days and we had a turnout of over 60 folks.  So this year, of course, I decided to go bigger and better than ever.  With little promotion, we (my co-hosts and I, the Gabbin’ with the Girls) have managed to sell out tickets even before I announced the location.  We have 150 registered attendees with a great venue.  I’ve created a wait list as I do expect that spots will become available as we get closer to the date.

So Friday, March 11, 2011 from 7:30-11 PM is go time for our second annual #UnSix event held at Iron Cactus literally just a 5 minute walk from the Austin Convention Center.  We have our own private cocktail room for the event.  Attendees are likely to be recruiters, human resource pros, social media peoples, and technology professionals from literally all over the world.  More details about the event are at our registration page.  You can view the guest list, add yourself to the waitlist, or purchase a sponsorship package.

With that being said, I’m in the market for sponsors and I have three different options (listed below).  Sponsorships will cover drinks and appetizers for the guests.

  • Honorable Mention Sponsorship.  ($500) Smaller business or budget option.  Access to event for you and guests. Logo recognition at the event and on all communication.
  • General Sponsorship.  ($2,000) Access to the event for your business and guests. You would get a video advertisement on both shows and logo recognition on two different websites.  Larger logo recognition on event registration page and registered guest information.  Mention on three separate blogs with logo information.
  • Lead Sponsorship.  ($4,000) Top billing and logo recognition.  Limited to one.  Access to event for company & guests. Guest on Job Search Secrets show during SXSW.  Same benefits as Gen Sponsor but largest logo recognition on event registration page and guest communication.  Mention on three separate blogs with logo information.  Lead sponsor will have access to the guest list after.

Interested?  Shoot me an email or give me a call. . . [email protected] or 405.343.5751.  Let’s talk!

Disclaimer. . . This event is not in any way offiliated with SXSW.  It’s unofficial, yo!
