Ep 18 – Workplace Wardrobe Essentials with Irene Gianos

workplace, hr policies, wardrobe

Wardrobe is something that’s on my mind at of recent. That’s because I spent my holiday break organizing, purging and decluttering my own and my family’s closet and clothing. It’s something I personally hate doing, but as I get older I am thinking more about how staying fashionable without following trends can happen. I just don’t have the time or energy these days for shopping. If only I had a full time stylist like Kim Kardashian. Maybe someday…

This episode of our Workology Podcast I talk with Irene Gianos who is a fashion and lifestyle blogger. Irene is ALWAYS on trend and wearing the right things. Whether it’s for work or fun she is so great at finding creative ways to integrate her fashion essentials for nearly every occasion. So I read her blog, The OP Life  and following her instagram to get inspired on what essentials, beauty and fashion I should be investing in. Hear about my recent purchase of a faux fur vest. It’s my new favorite thing! Thanks, Irene!

2015 Fashion Trends Perfect for Work

One of my favorite segments on The OP Life is, “Shop Your Closet.” Irene shares with us on the podcast how to revitalize your wardrobe by using existing pieces you have in your closet in different ways while also incorporating new accessories. Hear her talk about the 2015 color of the year, fashion trends and how you can add it to your wardrobe to stay on trend without breaking the bank. I’m all about transitioning looks from day to night and from work to networking and family activities.

As I was cleaning out my closet last week, I seriously began considering investing in the same wardrobe essentials in a single color like Steve Jobs and my friend, Marylene Delbourg-Delphis does. Irene and I discuss if there is genius in wearing the same outfit every day. Because I’m pressed for time also probably like you are too, I look to friends and lifestyle bloggers like Irene to recommend beauty products. Her 2015 favorites are Monat haircare line and Arbonne for your skincare needs.
