Announcing the Workplace Masters Institute

The Workplace Masters Institute is a joint venture of Jessica Miller-Merrell, Linda Blackmon, and Elijah May, founders of WorkologyExtendMyTeam, and The Experience Firm, respectively.

The stated mission of the institute is advancing performance in the areas of leadership, recruiting, and human resources. Established experts (Masters) from across the country, like Meaning at Work author Danny Gutknecht, will come to Austin and lead classes, workshops, and symposiums for professionals charged with increasing workplace productivity.

According to the 2017 Workplace Learning Report published by LinkedIn, organizations are investing more in talent development, and 69% of learning and development professionals say that talent is the number one priority in their organizations.

“As the nature of work and the workplace continues to evolve, based on both advances in technology and the shift towards more human-focused policies, we want to provide a place where critical conversations, collaboration, and education can take place,” said Miller-Merrell. “Any organization that wants to maximize their return on talent needs access to industry-best tools and practices,” she added.
