5 Ways HR Can Support New Managers Stepping Into Their Roles

AVAILABLE ON DEMAND

Session Description:

Being a manager, especially a new manager, is never easy. They are making a significant change from individual contributor to team manager and leader who is coaching employees and supporting them to meet the team’s goals and targets. Add in the complexity of a hybrid work environment and the stresses of finding a sense of balance as we transition back to a normal life and many new managers feel like they’re left hanging without support or training.

HR leaders are tasked with helping our new managers prepare for and transition to these new roles, whether they are new to the organization or promoted from within the organization. In this webinar, Ramona Shaw and Jessica Miller-Merrell will talk about five different ways that human resource business partners can support their new managers transitioning into new roles. This hour long webinar worth 1.0 HRCI and SHRM recertification credits, will discuss ways to provide formal as well as informal support for new managers across the organization.

This session is pre-approved for 1.0 HRCI business and SHRM recertification credit. This session is free to all attendees. In order to receive the recert credit you must be in attendance.
