The spreadsheet is a horrible yet prevalent recruiter and hiring process. Yet a growing number of employees want a collaborative and teamwork based environment focused on data and information sharing. Archively’s CEO and Founder, Perri Blake Gorman talks about the new teamwork based recruiting research functionality of Archively. I love what they are doing for a number of reasons so much so that I am an investor in her company.
Perri is one of the very few HR technology founders who has a background as a recruiter. She talks about how being a former executive retained search recruiter helped her to build a product that allows for recruiters to do their candidate homework before reaching out to their top prospects on social networks, email or phone.

Perri’s company is unique in that they not only provide technology for sourcing and recruiting but they also do sourcing and research for a growing number of companies. Recruiting is about collaboration, teamwork and process. Her bold prediction for the next trend in recruiting technology is that we will see a trend back to old school where recruiting is more about relationships and more traditional search methods.
