I’m presenting twice this week at the SHRM Talent Conference Digitizing Talent: Creative Strategies for Recruiting in the Digital Age. My first talk is an 18 minute Smart Stage session where I cover some best practices in digital recruiting and trends. In the longer concurrent session, I will be discussing a number of case studies from companies like AT&T, Gap, AOL, Zappos and the American Heart Association as well as insights from several clients. Both talks offer unique content you won’t get by attending one or the other. I’ll be sharing examples of best practices when it comes to social media, live video and new digital recruiting trends including programmatic ad buying. I’ll also have my Snapchat Spectacles on hand before and after the presentation if you want to try them on, snap a photo and see what it’s all about.

Creative Strategies for the Digital Recruiting Age

I wanted to give everyone a chance to snag a copy of my presentation either before, during or after my session as well as provide you with additional resources and information that you might have questions about relating to the session or digital recruiting in general. My slides are embedded in this post below. The session will be action packed with materials, research and examples being shared at a rapid pace. I only have an hour so I thought I would make the most of it answer any additional questions you might have before they are asked:

WHAT TOOLS, TECHNOLOGIES AND CHROME EXTENSIONS DID YOU MENTION?

I mentioned the following tools and technologies in my session:

  • Social Media: MeetEdgar and Twibble
  • Chrome Extensions: Email Hunter, Agile CRM, and Discover.org

  • HR Tech: 1) Programmatic tools: Indeed, Jobs2Careers, Recruitics and AppCast; 2) Texting tools: TextUs and TextRecruit
  • Other: DropBox (great to use with IFTTT and your Gmail)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me at the presentation or leave a comment below. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Recommended Resources

I’ll be adding more resources based on the questions I receive in the session so if you asked a question either during the session or by leaving a comment, I’ll update this resource. Check back or tweet me and I’ll direct you the right resource.
