When it comes to applicant tracking systems, it’s things like features and user experience that matter most in my opinion. This includes the user experience as a candidate which makes sense. We want job candidates to find the application process easy and intuitive. Equally important but often overlooked is the recruiter and hiring manager experience. We want everyone involved in the hiring funnel and process to take advantage of the HR technologies we invest in. We want to encourage them to leave feedback, gather candidate information, and share their point of view making the hiring process truly a collaborative and interactive one.

One of my favorite features within their candidate profiles is their new texting feature which is built in and is powered through a Chrome extension as well as mobile app. This allows you to stay engaged with your top candidate prospects even when you are on the go. In such a competitive market, especially for small to medium sized businesses, looking to streamline the recruiting process with quick messages even job offers by text. These small details make a difference and provide a competitive advantage. Even more important, text details and the data are easily accessible in a single place while also protecting your recruiters personal cell phone numbers and details.

Calendar Integration That Hits a Home Run for Recruiters and Job Seekers Alike

Interview scheduling is no longer a chore. JazzHR integrates directly with my favorite calendar scheduling tool, Calendly. This expanded features allows again for quick engagement. Calendly works within the JazzHR platform allowing for the recruiting coordinator to quickly view available dates and times for hiring managers and other interviews to meet. Additionally, users can also reserve meeting rooms within the technology. No more running around minutes before an interview searching last minute for an interview or meeting room.

Group scheduling sessions allow you to select a location, meeting room, or conference room quickly and easily. Even better, JazzHR allows you the ability to add specific interview guides for those interviewing candidates to use allowing for a more consistent and efficient hiring experience for everyone involved.
