As an HR practitioner who has hired and interviewed thousands of candidates, there are things I like to see when it comes to your resume. Sometimes these suggestions and tips are related to personal preference like font style, layout and the flow of a resume. Other times, my suggestions like keeping your resume in neutral colors and in a word doc versus a .pdf are recommendations made based on HR and hiring technology used to filter and screen resumes called at ATS or applicant tracking system.
