For the last ten years, I’ve hosted an HR specific event called HRetreat designed for a meeting place for HR and recruiting professionals to connect and network away from the crazy and crowds during the conference in ATX. In the past, the event has given local Austinites the opportunity to connect without the parking challenges and traffic that is part of the two-week conference and festival.

Almost three years ago, I relocated to Austin making this city the new HQ for myself, my family and my business which is why it made sense for me to expand the event beyond a two-hour networking event and to a all day experience complete with panel sessions, light appetizers, and a happy hour from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.

This event is for human resource and recruiting practitioners as well as workplace leaders who have a passion and interest in employee development and human capital strategy. From 10:30-5:00 PM we have panels scheduled featuring HR and recruiting practitioners who are sharing insights into how their work is transforming their organization and business. Look for more details coming soon on the panel topics and speakers, but I promise you it will be a great conversation!

Our location has wonderful food, beverages, and indoor and outdoor seating as well as views of the Colorado River. Valet parking is available for those who have a car. And for the rest, the trip is just a short petty cab from the convention center. Stay tuned for information about our panel topics and special guests leading up the event.
