What I like most about the email inbox feature is that responses can be customized alerting the employee to their case number, when an HR representative will contact them and most importantly the system can provide them a list of suggested articles and resources stored within the system to help answer the employee’s question.  Often times, employees are in need of very specific information like information on the company’s employee bereavement policy.  The system recognizes certain keywords and can provide the employee via email a list of recommended articles, forms, and resources based on the keywords contained within their message.
