Hey jobseekers (and agency recruiters), here is a quick tip from the good folks over at Indeed.

If you shop online, use Gmail, or access your work network at home you’re using cloud computing. A recent survey by Citrix cited that 97% of Americans use cloud computing, and as industry trends are often mimicked by a growing demand for specific skill sets, Indeed.com has found that the number of job postings containing the keywords “cloud computing” and “virtualization” have risen steadily over the last few years.

Increasing demands for these skills is evident in the keyword growth of relevant terms like: SaaS, PaaS, EC2 and VMware, and among the positions with the most job postings available right now in this field are software development, application development, QA testing, software engineers, system engineers and system administrators.

So, where should people searching for these open jobs look? According to Indeed data, the top five job locations for these keyword searches are:
· Palo Alto, CA
· San Jose, CA
· San Francisco, CA
· Seattle, WA
· New York, NY

In addition, Indeed has compiled a list of employers with the most cloud-related postings right now:
· Microsoft
· Juniper Networks
· Salesforce.com
· VMWare
· Verizon
· Amazon
· Dell
· HP
· PWC
· Oracle

So, was this helpful? Would you like to see more? Leave a comment and let me know.
