It’s hard to explain but bacon is revered by Human Resource professionals all across the world. It’s a common theme that binds and brings us together. Many of you know that I purchased the domain HRBacon.com. Not sure where and when inspiration will strike for the site but I’m betting it will.
Bacon Means Business
What you don’t know is that bacon transcends HR. There are more than 70 Million Google results for bacon and all within the last year. Bacon provides inspiration, business opportunity, and community. If you don’t believe me, take a look at this video about bacon from Ignite Dallas by my friend, Mike D. Hey Jessica, how did I miss this? As I was spinning my bacon idea after 09 HRevolution there was some discussion about the brilliant person who purchased that URL. Wish I had known it was you before setting out on my little community-building HR bacon excursion. Would love to cooperatively work this bacon cheer leading angle. I too had no idea you manage HR Bacon Hut. Absolutely marvelous! We should do some collaboration. Of course these days I’m really busy with my two new focuses–Get Social Conference & Texting4Jobs. I think we need an HR Bacon Community but I don’t have the time to invest in putting it together. I also have secured the @hrbacon twitter handle just in case. You never know when these things come in handy.
